Stephen Guises Books

In the design of the Stephen Guise book series, considering the themes and spirit of the works, our main focus was to ensure that the books were not only “readable” in terms of content and translation, but also in form and design. For this reason, a pocket-sized format was chosen—an intimate and portable dimension that, combined with bulky paper, creates a light, comfortable, and highly tactile reading experience. A book that can be easily held anywhere, allowing the reader to continue reading effortlessly.

In the layout design, clarity, structure, and precise segmentation of content were prioritized, without any need for decorative elements or unnecessary additions. This minimalist and functional approach was also carried through to the cover design and illustrations, forming a consistent visual language—an approach that treats simplicity not as a limitation, but as the essence of beauty and usability.
